I had a bottle of this one a while back and thought it was perfectly pleasant as bottled session ales go, but nothing to really shout about. Champion Beer of Britain? Maybe it was just insanely good on the day. Or maybe the judges all spotted the Jaipur a mile off - presumably by its distinctive brilliance and the angelic halo that tends to surround the pint glass when it's poured - and thought it was famous enough already?
